On New Year’s Eve I was asked about my resolution for the upcoming year. I’m not usually one for New Year’s resolutions but I’m throwing that non-tradition out the window. I (unironically) said my resolution is to blog more and I don’t care how dumb that sounds! I’m using the beginning of a new year to set this goal for myself and in 2018 I’m going to create more content than I ever have before! My goal is to publish a new blog post or video every Tuesday (I might alternate weeks or just see what feels right on a week-by-week basis). The combination of this blog and my YouTube channel I reinvigorated last year, I’m very excited to get myself consistently back on the free web content train like I was a couple of years ago.
To get down to business for a minute, this goal of mine, how much does it matter to you? Perhaps enough to subscribe to my email list, the most direct way to get all this fresh new content sent right to your screen? Perhaps you’d like to subscribe to my blog using RSS to get my blog posts sent to your RSS reader of choice? Ah, but in that case, perhaps you’d like to subscribe to my YouTube channel as well, so you don’t miss out on my videos? (It’s here that I’ll remind you that the email list covers both of these things and doing all three would really put a smile on my face.)
It really does help motivate me knowing people are checking out the stuff I put out there. This is the age of the internet and I need that kind of gratification.
Happy New Year!
I’ve lived in New York City for a year now (my anniversary was a couple of days ago)! Kind of ridiculous, really. This has not felt like a whole year
