A wonderful statue I found in San Francisco:

There are a lot of things to like about this statue such as the juxtaposition of the mythological and guns, a guy being trampled by Pegasus. But my favorite part:

A guy who is simply saying to his enemy, “I’m going to shoot you now.” Such a stern look with a posture full of poise. Fantastic.

The review in the above link says, “nice details in the horse show veins and muscular structure.” Not one word about poise.
