Big Gulp and a Residence at Studio 40

A couple of months back I was involved in the formation of an improv group called Big Gulp. We started rehearsing every week and had our first show as part of a Cage Match at ImprovBoston in October where we “faced off” against another group, WNBA. We lost but that did not discourage us!

Just a couple of weeks ago, Big Gulp auditioned to be a part of Studio 40, ImprovBoston’s weekly improv show held on Friday nights at 7:30. Studio 40 recently went through some changes and this will be the first time it is set up as a 6-team, 6-month residency. That means that 6 teams will rotate through 3 slots per week and each team will end up performing about twice a month. Well, we made it through auditions! We had a set that I was really proud of and Big Gulp will be part of Studio 40 through May!

Big Gulp is:
