I spend a lot of time as a pedestrian. I drive sometimes, though rarely these days. I don’t have a car of my own any more, I sold it. Sometimes I miss my car. It felt good to sit in it, knowing it was mine. It gave me freedom until I moved to New York, then it became more of a ball and chain. It’s Not Funny Yet

I was in the audience for an improv show the other day and overheard my new favorite under-the-breath comment from a fellow audience member. I was all the way in the back of a show where the audience would vote on their favorite improv team. With voting on the line, this meant that the audience was full of friends and family of the performers. These people probably have less experience going to improv shows than a typical improv audience member would, they are there for support and otherwise probably wouldn’t have come out…
