I’ve never had good luck with self-promotion. Maybe first I need to get a better self and worry about the promotion later? That’s probably the right way to go but in the end, it doesn’t matter because YouTube thinks I need to work on my branding. (The sub-problem to this self-promotion issue is that my brand is non-existent. The closest I’ve ever gotten to one is calling myself “awkward about being awkward” on Twitter.) As a result, I spent a couple of nerve-racking minutes talking directly to a camera about my YouTube channel:

I wrote about this last year and it’s back in Boston again this year, the Women In Comedy Festival! I’m a hug fan of the festival, they always put on
